Wind Chimes are hollow metal or bamboo tubes grouped together and hung outside a building or house, which produce soft chimes when the tubes strike each other from motion caused by the wind. In some parts of the world these wind chimes are used to predict weather changes. For example if a wind chime is hung on the north side of the house so only a north wind will move it, this may mean a storm or colder weather is on its way. Placing the wind chime on the south side of the house could mean milder temperatures are due. With today's accurate weather predictions we don't need to interpret our own weather forecast, but wind chimes are still popular as these metal wind chimes create a crisp light melody.
